Springing into Summer
Well here we are again, straight past spring and whirling into a red hot summer here in California. The grass is still green and the flowers are in bloom, but the sun has us poised for a long, dry summer after a short, dry winter, which seems to be increasingly the norm. All we can do is take advantage of the cool(er) mountain air and keep on drinking wine- always a good plan in our book.
Now that the temps are warming up around the US we would like to remind you all that summer shipping rates will soon go into effect, which raises shipping costs about $25 per case. We recommend stocking up on wine before the start of June to save on shipping and ensure your wine is thermally protected for best drinking!

Tastings at The Farm
Through the spring we had so many new friends come by the farm for tastings- folks who found us online or via word of mouth recommendations, and many of whom joined our wine club after their visit! To those of you who joined us, we thank you kindly, and to those of you who sent friends and family our way, we thank you greatly!
For the summer we'll continue hosting tastings on the weekend, hopefully with an automatic scheduling button on the website so you can book your appointment directly! It’s in the works… In the meantime, you can continue to shoot us an email and we will reach out to accommodate as we’re able. As always, advanced plans are recommended to ensure someone will be on hand and available to run your tasting.

New Wines
We’re also happy to announced that the 2020 Primitivo Rosé is now available! Produced at just 25 cases, this lovely light drinker is a fully native yeast fermentation, hand harvested and left on the skins for 12 hours before being basket pressed and left to rest in neutral oak barrels through the winter. Month by month it continues to develop with fresh light notes of plum and sour morello cherry.
As always Wine Club members receive their special club case price as well as 10% off singles, four packs and half cases, AND of course, an additional 10% off 3 or more cases purchased in a year for those of you stocking up.
That's it for now, folks! We hope this email finds you all well wherever it is you are, and that you'll have a chance to visit us soon. Drop us a line and let us know how you're enjoying your wine. Send us a picture if you get a chance- we always love to see customer photos of our wine in the wild!
Take care, stay safe, and more soon.
