Early Spring in California

Greetings from sunny California! While sunshine is to be expected in all seasons here on the west coast, we are hesitantly indulging in a very warm winter that feels more like late spring these days. After an incredible deluge of rain that broke historical records back in November we went on to experience our second driest January on record and were continuing the trend with a very warm February....that was, until a few days ago. A sudden frost and a deluge of snow at low elevations in the Sierras means trouble for the buds and flowers that were tricked into early blooming. Hopefully the cold snap doesn't cause significant damage to California's vineyards and farmlands this year! For now we're wearing sandals with socks, leggings under shorts, our winter coat and a beanie under our sombrero because we're just not sure what to expect next from this weather!

Wine Drops For The People

Our Quarterly Club has been growing steadily and we've been excited about the positive feedback from so many new members! The rotating four pack delivered every three months has proven to be a popular format and the challenge of including something new and fresh in every delivery keeps us on our toes and planning ahead! If you live local to the Sacramento or Amador region you can still sign up for a Quarterly Membership on our website. The price of $80 per quarter gets you all the goods that change with the seasons, available for pickup or delivery. If you live outside our delivery region but are still interested, reach out to us! If there's enough interest then we can create an option for shipping. Indeed we would be excited to expand this option to all of our friends far and wide!

In the meantime, you can always try our wines around the Sacramento and Amador county areas:

Sacramento
Ro Sham Beaux (bottles to go and on tap)
